We have not been on Facebook since 10.04.2024. We have condemned the profiles https://facebook.com/fablabc and https://facebook.com/stadtfabrikanten to the hunting grounds. The reason for this was the sheer impossibility of maintaining our content and changing our legal notice.
Since Meta carried out strange customer data migrations over several years, the use and overview became increasingly difficult and unwieldy - especially in the backend area. Ultimately, we locked ourselves out of the association and account recovery was no longer possible, whereas a persistent Instagram link continued to provide auto-posts. This was very exciting and frustrating for us at the same time.
Facebook support, which was set to AI chatbot, was only able to "help" us after about 10 emails. So we say goodbye to this platform and "once and never again".
